COURSE OUTLINE

  1. To compare and contrast disease processes at the molecular and cellular levels and to correlate them with clinical diseases.
  2. To design translational studies for both the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases, with an emphasis on conditions that can lead to arrest.
  3. To integrate the principles of translational research across a range of clinically significant questions.
  4. To collaborate interdisciplinarily in the translational process.
  5. To structure protocols for patent submission or the creation of spin-offs.
