Awarded Postgraduate Title

Upon successful completion of the Programme, the Department of Midwifery and the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the School of Health and Welfare Sciences of the University of West Attica, and the School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, jointly award a Master’s Degree Diploma (Postgraduate Diploma), with the Greek title «Αναζωογόνηση» and the English title “Resuscitation,” in accordance with the provisions of Law 4957/2022, as currently in force.

The Master’s Degree Diploma is a public document. Prior to the official award, graduates of the IIPSP may be granted a certificate confirming the successful completion of the IIPSP, along with a transcript of grades detailing the corresponding credit units (ECTS).

A Diploma Supplement is attached to the Master’s Degree Diploma. This is an explanatory document and does not substitute the official degree title or the transcript of grades. The Diploma Supplement is attached to the Master’s Degree and provides information on the nature, level, context, content, and status of the studies that were successfully completed by the individual named on the original degree certificate. The Supplement does not contain any value judgements, statements of equivalence or correspondence, or recommendations concerning the recognition of the Master’s Degree abroad. The Diploma Supplement is issued automatically and free of charge in both Greek and English and must meet the authenticity requirements for the awarded degree. The date of issue of the Supplement does not necessarily coincide with the date the Master’s Degree is conferred, but it can never precede it.

The final grade of the Master’s Degree Diploma is derived from the assessment grades of the courses and the Master’s Thesis.
